Senior Driver Assessments

The Roads and Maritime Services now require that all Senior Drivers be reassessed for safe driving once you have reached the age of 85, and in some cases, where there are medical or physical issues, a reassessment should be done from the age of 75. The alternative is to opt for a modified license, which will restrict the range of your driving.

As a more mature, female driver myself, I understand the importance of having a sympathetic and patient driving instructor to guide both young and older clients through what can be a stressful time.  It is my belief that the more we prolong the independence of an individual, the more youthful their outlook is likely to be and the better their quality of life.

If you are at the stage where you need to make a decision about your driving, and you would like to discuss your options with someone who understands the importance of your driving independence, please give me a call and leave a message.  I am often with a client and won’t be able to answer immediately, but I will get back to you as soon as I am able.

I look forward to chatting with you.
